My January FitPicks are brought to you by my lovely intern, Mariana! She went with a theme of taupe and lavender for our first FitPicks of 2017! I love everything in the photo above, but she sent me SO MANY FUN THINGS that I couldn’t include them all! Scroll down to the bottom to see them [and shop]!

If we were at coffee today, here’s what I would tell you. I just got home from the most amazing family trip to NYC! We left B at home with F’s parents, and as nice as it was to explore the city without our toddler, I have to say that I missed him terribly from the moment we dropped him off! BIG NEWS in my house… MY SISTER, CARLY, IS GETTING MARRIED! Her fiancé is amazing and will proudly admit that he’s been in love with my sister since middle school! They went to preschool together and dated in high school briefly and have been going strong for a few years now! He proposed on Christmas Day! Of course, we had to celebrate them when we got back from New York, so I threw a huge New Year’s Eve bash at my house for their friends to celebrate them!

The only thing is, that I also arrived home from NYC on New Year’s Eve! It was a whirlwind setting up the party in mere hours, but not as much of a whirlwind as packing B for a week with his grandparents, packing myself for a week in NYC, getting last-minute Christmas gifts, helping plan a proposal, taking down the Christmas decorations and prepping my house for a party the week of Christmas was!

Now, I’m looking forward to getting back on track with my health in 2017! You can read all about my New Year’s Resolution and how I came up with it here.

How about you? What are you looking forward to most in this new year?
