I just finished up week 7 of macronutrient counting and this week was pretty much a wash because I went to Napa over the weekend…
Here’s my week 7 update!
Food-wise: This week was pretty good, until the weekend! I cheated BIG TIME in Napa and I don’t regret it. I had an amazing time and got to enjoy awesome cuisine and wine and I was hanging out in beautiful scenery like this…
Even though I’m glad I went and I indulged, I know I need to step it up this week. I’m going to make sure that I stick to this like clockwork this next week so that I don’t completely disregard the hard work I’ve put in this far! I think with cheating on diets, it’s important not to feel guilty and beat yourself up over it. It’s much more effective to just cheat, have grace with yourself and keep on working hard… So, that’s what I’m going to do… even though the scale shows my weight going up.
Emotion-wise: I’m completely renewed! My weekend was amazing and relaxing and so very much-needed! I’m feeling SO MUCH BETTER!! BEST TRIP EVER!
Sleep-wise: I caught up on a lot of sleep this weekend and I’m feeling great!!
Training: I made it into the gym a couple of times last week and I had a pretty good workout one day! I’m feeling like my old self in the gym! It’s soooo nice!
Overall: I’m ready to hit my macros perfectly this week! I’m going to try to do another HIIT this week too to help make up for this weekend a bit.
One more week!!
