Hi Everyone!

Parties don’t have to be extravagant events. You can add little touches to a dinner out to make it special and memorable. Today, I’m sharing with you a few ways I made a Sunday brunch extra special since it was after we dedicated the life our precious baby boy to the LORD!

A few weeks ago, we dedicated our precious baby boy to the LORD through the symbolic act of baptism! We absolutely love LOVE our church and we wanted to formally announce that we are aiming to raise our child to know and love Jesus and follow His ways and we wanted to ask our church family to help us in that endeavor. This act was so special to us, I wanted to commemorate that day with a celebration with our families and friends.

First, I ordered invitations to the service and brunch through my dear friend, Katie from The Etcetera Studio. She so lovingly incorporated everything she knew I’d want into a beautiful, custom-made invitation. She’s amazing and SO SO TALENTED, y’all. If you need invitations, announcements, cards, prints or anything really… go check her out!

I decided that a simple brunch at our favorite spot, Kozy Kitchen, after the service would be great and it was. After the service, I got over to Kozy really quickly and set up the table.

I ordered gluten free sugar cookies from Unrefined Bakery, which they decorated beautifully for the event with little crosses and baby B’s initials. I wrapped them in individual plastic bags tied with ribbon so our guests could take them home.

Raquel from R Love Floral put together two GORGEOUS arrangements to decorate the table. They had roses and hydrangeas and beautiful colors that celebrate a sweet baby boy!

I also ordered an Italian Cream Cake from Kozy Kitchen , which is GLUTEN FREE and AH-MAZING, and I placed it on top of F’s late grandmother’s milk glass cake plate so that a part of the event. I also hung a banner up that a friend of mine made for our boy’s baby shower. I’ll also put it out over our mantle when it’s time for his birthday!

This little party didn’t require much from me, but it was a beautiful and fun celebration! You can make any event special by adding little details!

Happy Monday!
