1 Week Pregnant – Pregnancy Week by Week

So… you’re pregnant. Have you missed your period yet? Do you have a positive pregnancy test? If you answered yes to these questions, you’re actually 4 weeks pregnant! Only 36 weeks left!

Because the 40 week gestational period technically calendar on the 1st day of your last period, no one is actually pregnant during their first two weeks of pregnancy… weird, right?

So, if you’re here because you’re pregnant and just looking for information on what this all means, jump ahead a few weeks and start there. There’s not much to read here.

Hoping to get pregnant? This week you’re finishing up you period and getting ready for ovulation! Maybe you’re taking your temperature daily or calculating your cycle like crazy! Here’s what you can do on week one of a hopeful pregnancy…

1. Take those prenatal vitamins.
2. Drink lots of water and eat healthy.
3. Relax. Or try to.
4. Get a good workout in.
5. Enjoy your husband’s company… if you’re picking up what I’m putting down!
