Baseboards, Ceiling Fans and Hard-to-Reach Places // Natural Cleaning 101

We’re headed around the house on a Natural Spring Cleaning kick this month, to get our homes ready for a new season! Today, we’re walking the hallways, bending down low and looking up high at the baseboards, ceiling fans and other hard-to-reach places, to get the details nice and clean! With these recipes for cleaning solutions you can make at home, natural spring cleaning has never been so easy!

Cleaning your home the natural way is actually much easier than you think, plus it can smell great, too! I’m all about keeping a clean house without all the harmful chemicals that come with modern-day cleaning solutions. Nesting towards the end of pregnancy is VERY real, and with a new baby in the house, I don’t want any toxins or potential allergens that could make my sweet little love bug react to negatively. Now that springtime is here, I’m going to share my favorite nesting recipes for all-natural cleaning solutions that may help you make the most of your spring cleaning naturally.

Spring Cleaning is all about the details… getting to those hard-to-reach places that we don’t touch as often as we should, right? This recipe is easy to make and can help disinfect and sanitize those hard-to-reach places and leave them sparkling clean! Plus, it smells great!

Cleaning baseboards, ceiling fans and hard-to-reach places naturally

This antimicrobial blend is great for cleaning those hard-to-reach places and removing the bacteria that has accumulated there. Mixing the oils and vinegar together first is essential to protecting the paint in those areas as well. The smell of the vinegar will go away and the essential oils will smell great for a long time!

• 2 drops of Rosemary EO
• 2 drops of Bergamot EO
• 2 drops Grapefruit EO
• 2 tablespoons vinegar

Blend the oils and vinegar together first, then mix them with warm water. Then, wet a cloth rag with the mixture and wipe off the surface. Follow up with a pass of a dry rag and voila! You’re all done!

Wasn’t that easy? I love this recipe for cleaning baseboards, ceiling fans and hard-to-reach places naturally! It’s disinfecting, safe on multiple surfaces, safe for the family – without all the chemicals and it smells great!

Happy natural spring cleaning!
