25 Sep What We Wore // Puttin’ on the Glitz
IT’S FRIDAY!!
Heck yes! Heck yes! OMG yes! And… it’s not over 100 degrees, so my post-partum, hot-flash self is in heaven! I’m so SO excited to share this amazing outfit with you all today! Once again, Tootsies and Hip Hip Hooray have outdone themselves by dressing B and I in the most amazing clothes. This sparkly blue and black dress does NOT disappoint!
I. LOVE. This Alice + Olivia Midi Length beaded cocktail dress! The length is conservative and the beading is funky, which makes for the PERFECT combination of fun and formal! Check out those sheer cutouts on the sides! They make this dress extra flattering and add an awesome dimension to the dress! It has everything I love in one outfit!
I paired it with my black, patent Oscar De La Renta slingbacks, my navy Gucci sunglasses and this awesome black, studded clutch by Christian Louboutin.
We went out to the amazing Arlington Hall at Lee Park, where B and I pretended that we had somewhere VERY fancy to go. Look at how sweet he is! Also… helpful hint for moms… Wear sparkly beading on your dress and your typically-squirmy little boy will be totally entertained in your arms… Plus, you’ll look FABULOUS!
Nothing says classic children’s wear like a piece from Feltman Bros. Timeless-perfection, wearable year-round and traditional, B’s outfit features hand smocking and is just DARLING! You can find all types of amazing outfits at Feltman Bros at my very favorite Hip! Hip! Hooray! baby boutique in Dallas. I’ll be saving all the Feltman things I put B in just like my momma did for me! [Love you, Mom!]
Doesn’t he look like the squishiest, darling-est, Prince Georgiest baby doll you’ve ever seen? That bottom lip!!! I DIE!!! Once again, thanks to the amazing Megan Weaver for these fabulous photos!
I hope you all have a great weekend! We’re going down to Waco tomorrow to take B to his first Baylor game at home! I can’t wait! I’m hoping our boys pull out a win! [I think they will]!
